EVENTS & NEWS AT THE VILLAGE STORE

Do you love food, enjoy interacting with customers, and love to serve your local community? Are you looking for a long-term career move and not just the next stepping stone?

This position is a unique and versatile kitchen and front counter team member role; you will work shifts in the kitchen, preparing food on the line and completing kitchen tasks, and at the front counter serving our customers. Are you known for being really reliable, driven and proactive, and have an upbeat, positive attitude? If so, then we want to hire you!

Qualified applicants must have at least three years of customer service experience. No prior kitchen experience is required, just a love of food and an openness to learn and grow.

Starting rate of pay is very competitive, and also includes tips, and shift meal discounts. Applicants seeking full-time employment are also eligible to accrue vacation time.

Pop-Up Ocean Resin Art Show Thursday April 16th!

Drop by on Thursday April 16th anytime between 4:30-6:30pm to check out ocean resin art by Gail Beane of Magic Wand Graphics. The pop-up will feature glassware, jewelry, ornaments, boards, trays, mugs, & more, all on display in our dining room!

Opening in 1836, the store initially operated as the town’s primary trading post. Craig & Kristin Jordan, former owners of another tried and true staple in the Lakes Region, family-owned Jordan’s Ice Creamery (founded in 1994), brought a vision to life in the Spring of 2024 by investing in this magical historic building and flourishing business.
