Gilford Old Home Day – Saturday August 29th!

Gilford's Old Home Day is just around the corner! We will be open modified hours on Saturday the 29th to accommodate all your Old Home Day needs! We will be open from 7am to 7pm. Stop by for breakfast before the road race, grab snacks or lunch after the parade, or grab dinner before the fireworks!

Now Offering Local Dairy Milk From Swain’s Legacy Farm!

We are excited to share a new offering at The Village Store! We have partnered with Swain's Legacy Farm, a local dairy farm in Sanbornton, NH, to provide local milk to the store. Weekly deliveries will be on Fridays!

Swain's milk is vat pasteurized, A2A2, cream line, whole milk, which delivers a rich & creamy taste. Along with their whole milk, we will also carry their chocolate milk!

Opening in 1836, the store initially operated as the town’s primary trading post. Craig & Kristin Jordan, former owners of another tried and true staple in the Lakes Region, family-owned Jordan’s Ice Creamery (founded in 1994), brought a vision to life in the Spring of 2024 by investing in this magical historic building and flourishing business.

What I really love about this place is the attention to quality. It’s obvious that a lot of thought goes into what they offer... It’s comfort food made with clean, thoughtful ingredients, the kind that makes you feel good about what you’re eating while you’re enjoying every bite of it. The Village Store is an excellent place to go for breakfast, lunch, and even early dinner options. It's got a little bit of everything. The thing is, everything is really good. Growing up here, I've been going to the Village Store since the 80s. The original owners are awesome, since then it's changed hands, but the current owners are doing an exceptional job. Highly recommend you visit this place. It's quaint, unique, quiet, has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent.

I had been looking for momofuku noodles but everywhere I went was sold out. I looked for alternate retailers in my area that carried them and found the Gilford village store. It was easy to find, had unique local items, and an amazing dessert section. I grabbed a food menu and will definitely be back for lunch.

Have been to this place a few times now. Love the service and the food. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The menu choices are good enough for what I wanted. The food is awesome. I have tried their sandwich and pizza, it is one of the best in the area. The location is very convenient, and there is plenty of parking. They also have good selection of beer and wine(not to consume at the location). This is definitely one of my favorite place to eat in the area.
